Usnea lichen
Extracted in a minimum of 35% alcohol (double extraction method)
Has a reputation of being more effective against some bacterial strains (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Pneumococcus) than penicillin. Traditionally used in the treatment of colds, flu, bronchitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, and sinus infections. Also may have some expectorant properties. Promotes excretion by the kidneys and urinary tract and may help maintain a healthy microbial balance in the urinary system.
